When your essay prompt says, "Using the Internet, research ______," asking a question on Brainly is one way to pursue such research.  But don't be shy about doing digging and investigating on your own, beyond the brief answers we give here on Brainly.  You can find all sorts of reports online about unsafe working conditions.  We do have agencies in the United States to protect against such things, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  But that doesn't mean there aren't workplaces that try to skirt the rules or do things in unsafe ways.

Around the world, especially in developing nations that are trying to catch up in the global economy, undesirable conditions can exist for many workers.  A 2017 story, for instance, reported on how hundreds of workers at shoe factories in Cambodia were fainting from exhaustion while working 10-hour shifts six days a week in overly hot factories.  If you do your own exploring online, you'll find other stories like that one.  Workplace safety remains a concern in today's industrialized (and industrializing) world.

How did South Carolina respond to the attempt by Britain to gain more control over its colonies?
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

The correct answer is D. During the 1760s, the British government adopted a series of tax policies in order to collect revenue to offset the War of France and Indian's costs.

As a consequence of the above, discontent was generated in most of the population which was loyal to the British. After the institution of these laws, merchants joined 11 other colonies to organize boycotts against the purchase of British products.
