Sample Answer from Plato.

Robber crabs have strong pincers for protection. They also use their pincers for climbing and feeding. Their large size and their exoskeleton also protect their bodies. The young crabs grab shells to protect themselves until they grow large enough. When they are big enough, the crabs move at a slower pace, decreasing their energy needs, which allows them to live long lives.

The LDL receptor is a receptor for: a. apolipoprotein B. b. receptor-mediated endocytosis of LDL. c. cell signaling via activati
tester [92]

Answer: Option D

Explanation:

Apolipoprotein B is a type of apolipoprotein that bind lipids including cholesterol and forming the main organizing protein in lipoproteins such as in the low density lipoprotein. The low density lipoprotein serves as a vehicle to transport cholesterol into the cell through the receptor mediated endocytosis process. This process allows for the movement of larger molecules from the outside of the cell into the cell. Thus apolipoprotein can bind as ligands to the LDL receptors and allow for the transport of fats into the cell..
