Icarus, Daedalus's son did not obey his father's warning of not flying too close to the sun. He flew too close and the sun's heat melted the wax holding the feathers to the wing causing the feathers to fall off.

nevsk [136]

Answer:

1. A) People hardly noticed the tiny scar on Li's forehead from her bike accident

2. A) Although the old woman's coat kept her warm, the seams were ripping and the collar was torn.

Explanation:

From the first number, the statement that provides an accurate example of the concept of the word "invisible" is option A.

This is because when something is invisible, it is hardly noticeable or even noticed at all.

Furthermore, in number two, the statement that provides an accurate example of the word "raggedy" is option A.

This is because, a raggedy cloth or something is a material that is torn and looks worn out.

He hakwks soccer team won 12 out of 14 games. If this rate continues, how many games will they win if they play a total of 21 ga
Bas_tet [7]

Comment

Set up a proportion

12/14 = x/21

They have already won 12 out of 14 games.

What you are asking is how many will the win (call that number x) if they play 21 games.

Solution

12/14 = x/21          Cross multiply

14* x = 12*21         Combine the right

14x = 252             Divide both sides by 14

14x/14 = 252/14    Do the division

x = 18

They should win 18 games.

A. a photograph of elephants in a forest is your best answer choice.

Note that the report is about "<em>wild elephants</em>".

Using images of taming elephants or any pictures (or drawings) by humans generally don't give a wild vibe to it.

Not B, because it would seem that the elephant had interaction with the human.

Not C, because the "wild" part of the elephant is gone already (the elephant being tamed by humans and used for exhibition)

Not D, because the word "taming" is in there.
