You actually want C because it's talking about a past habitual action so you need the imperfect tense. You can tell it's in imperfect because the verb alojábamos is also in imperfect tense.

Mario, ¿todavía estás mirando (1) ? ¿No ves que vamos a llegar tarde? MARIO Lo siento, pero no puedo ir a la fiesta de tu novia.
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

Pedro: Mario, ¿todavía estás mirando televisión ¿No ves que vamos a llegar tarde?

Mario: Lo siento, pero no puedo ir a la fiesta de tu novia. Pasan un partido de fútbol.

Pedro: Pero las fiestas de mi novia son más animadas y más entretenidas que cualquier partido de fútbol. Todos los partidos son iguales... Veintidós tontos corriendo detrás de una pelota, los espectadores gritando (shouting) como locos y el árbitro pitando (whistling) sin parar.

Explanation:

You must complete the blanks with the correct vocabulary.

Transaltion:

Pedro: Mario, you're still watching TV. Can't you see we're going to be late?

Mario: I'm sorry, but I can't go to your girlfriend's party. The soccer game is on.

Pedro: But my girlfriend's parties are cheerful and more entertaining than any football game. All games are the same... Twenty-two dummies running after a ball, the spectators shouting (shouting) like crazy and the referee whistling non-stop.
