The purpose of the reconstruction amendments was to grant African Americans their rights that should be rightfully given to them as was given to all other citizens aka whites.

In the end, the reconstruction amendments gave them citizenship, voting rights, etc...

African women were not focused on and didn't get the rights men received.

I hope that helps you out!!

Any more questions, please feel free to ask me and I will gladly help you out!!

Reconstruction amendments allow us as people from different parts of the world to be something bigger, or to be heard in the U.S. For examples, white people had a great life, they could vote and were able to defend themselves against Congress and other people what so ever. Meanwhile, Africans Americans and other races, were treated unfairly and were not able to do much for themselves.
So, the point or purpose of the reconstruction amendments is to protect all people and for everyone to be treated equal, ignoring the races and etc.
I honestly don't know how to explain this but I hope it helps.

How was Charlemagne a stabilizing, or steadying force in Western Europe?
Dovator [93]
Charlemagne was able to unite practically the whole Western Europe and to proclaim himself the Holy Roman Emperor. By creating certain institutions he stabilized his government in the country.
Explanation:
Continuing the policy of expansion of the Frankish kingdom started by his father, during 46 years of his reign, Charlemagne led 53 military campaigns to spread Christianity and protect the Frankish state from the incursion of neighbors, but also to impose his hegemony throughout the West.
After the establishment of the empire, he focused his activity on organization, and reduced his personal share in military ventures by leaving them to his sons.
Self-taught and a lover of grammar, Charlemagne sought to promote knowledge. His desire to educate the clergy prompted cultural renewal, the so-called the Carolingian renaissance or reform.

iogann1982 [59]
A major objective of both the Annapolis Convention and the Philadelphia Convention were both based around revising certain things such as the Articles of Confederation and trade barriers, but more so to create a new government, rather than to fix the weaker one which was in place.

Gun ownership. To what extent might a believer of God defend himself against the physical threat to himself for his loved ones i
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

A believer of God is allowed to defend himself and his loved ones by any means necessary because this is self defence and it is not looked down on in the Bible.

The Bible prohibits killing, this is true. Further reading however would show that the Bible prohibits killing without cause i.e, murder. If it is done in self-defence however, there are a host of Bible passages that support this.

Exodus 22:2-3 for instance states that there will be no guilt on a person who kills a thief if it was done whilst the thief was in the act. Proverbs 25:26 also infers that one should defend themselves by saying that the righteous should not give way for the wicked.

Coupled with all the times the Israelites went to war to defend themselves I believe this shows that while murder is prohibited (quite strongly), self-defence is not.
