There is also a couple of students from the basketball team who have been bulling other students     and are planning on graffiti the school on Sunday. Please take care of these kids so that way kids still want to come to this school.

Roman55 [17]

Answer:

OA. A parent is usually wiser than a child, and logic is not always the  best way to solve a problem.

Explanation:

In the given passage, the problem of who gets the last apple or how to equally distribute the fruit so as not to anger anyone in the central conflict. While Tim insisted that he deserves it as Karen already had the last orange, Karen believes she should have the last apple considering she's hungrier than Tim.

With the mother's intervention, there is a probable solution to that dilemma. Thus, not only did the mother gave a solution for the problem, but she also brings out the theme of how adults, parents are usually wiser than children and that applying logic is not always a sure way of solving a problem.

Thus, the correct answer is option A.
