The answer is agriculture. A vast majority of slaves worked on farms. This was because the farm work was the hardest. Some slaves, known as house slaves, worked inside their master's house. Their work was significantly easier.

What ended President William H. Taft’s anti-trust efforts?
bonufazy [111]

What ended President William H. Taft’s anti-trust efforts was the end of his term in office.

Throughout his administration President Taft consistently launched antitrust cases because he was inclined to believe that courts were to regulate trust activities and not the executive branch of the federal government.

How was the outcome of Germany’s attack on France in 1940 different from that of their attack on France in 1914?
gregori [183]

Answer: The German attack on France in the 1940s was a success. Germany took over France in that attack, even using their own trench guns against them.

Explanation:  France made a mistake after WWI by spending a tone of money on building a massive trench system around France in case of a 2nd world war. However, trench warfare was deemed to be useless in WWII, so useless that the Germans used the machine guns inside of those trenches against the French.
