First, by reading it you can tell she's obviously sad. So, that marks out C. You can also see that in the passage it says "She knew it was just a stupid test on the Civil War, but she had studied so hard for it. She had been so sure she was going to pass" you can probably guess she had gotten a bad grade making it not B. And D, I don't even know how you could think that's the answer.
