The death of many American Indians to diseases and the planting of labor-intensive crops gave rise to the slave trade.

Further Explanation:-

The Atlantic slave trade was known to be the result of labour Shortage and was created by the desire of European colonists in order to explore the land of the world to gain capital profits. Native people were initially used as slave labour by people of Europe but due to this many of those died because of overwork and diseases. There were also alternative source of labors that were provided but they failed to provide sufficient amount of workforce which was required. The reason for the constant shortage with regards to labour was that during that period of time the labour was cheap and land available was large and that was the reason behind shortage of workers.

Economist Elena Esposito was of the argument that slavery of Africans during the period of colonial America was the attributable to the fact that the South America was warm and humid for malaria as it can spread its roots and this had bad effect on the health of European settlers.

Which event influenced many southern states to finally seceded from the Union?
egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

The American Civil War (also known by other names) was a civil war in the United States from 1861 to 1865, fought between northern states loyal to the Union and southern states that had seceded to form the Confederate States of America.[e] The civil war began as a result of the unresolved controversy of the enslavement of black people and its disputed continuance. War broke out in April 1861 when secessionist forces attacked Fort Sumter in South Carolina, just over a month after Abraham Lincoln had been inaugurated as the president of the United States. The loyalists of the Union in the North, which also included some geographically western and southern states, proclaimed support for the Constitution. They faced secessionists of the Confederate States in the South, who advocated for states' rights to uphold slavery.
