Lee watched as Mira started the car. As the car pulled out of the driveway, Lee saw instead a little girl on a bicycle, smiling

and yelling behind her, "Don't let go, Daddy!" He saw a younger version of himself beaming as he ran to keep up with her, finally letting go and watching her sail down the street. A car honked its horn, and Lee shook his head and waved at his teenage daughter as she drove off down the street.

Answer:

C.Flashback

Explanation:

-Foreshadowing is when the writer provides an indication of what might happen in the future.

-Inciting incident refers to the event that begins the problem of the main character and generates the interest on the reader.

-Flashback is a point in which the writer goes to the past from the current time in the story.

-Parallel plots is when the writer has different narratives that are connected by a character or event in a story.

According to this, the literary element that the passage contains is flashback because Lee is having a memory of his past.

Preposition in the asked sentence "He batted and threw right-handed throughout his career.":- throughout.

Define preposition.

Prepositions and postpositions collectively referred to as adpositions (or broadly, in conventional grammar, simply prepositions) are the elegant words used to explicit spatial or temporal members of the family or to mark various semantic roles. A preposition or postposition commonly combines with a noun phrase, this being referred to as its supplement, or sometimes object. A preposition comes earlier than its supplement; a postposition comes after its supplement. The phrase fashioned with the aid of using a preposition or postposition collectively with its supplement is referred to as a prepositional phrase (or postpositional phrase, adpositional phrase, etc.) – such terms normally play an adverbial position in a sentence.
