Collaborative consumption is referred to as the situation in which the use of a single product is increased through sharing access to it. It is a form of sharing.
In other words, we can say it is the shared use of a good or service by a group. It differs from the normal consumption in the way that the cost of goods or services is not borne by a single individual but shared by the group. This lowers the cost of a single person and makes the product more accessible to all.
