Awnser:  Mr. Speaker, Mr. President Pro Tempore, members of Congress, and fellow Americans:

In the normal course of events, Presidents come to this chamber to report on the state of the Union.  Tonight, no such report is needed.  It has already been delivered by the American people.

In a historic address to the nation and joint session of Congress Sept. 20, President Bush pledges to defend America's freedom against the fear of terrorism. White House by Eric Draper. We have seen it in the courage of passengers, who rushed terrorists to save others on the ground -- passengers like an exceptional man named Todd Beamer.  And would you please help me to welcome his wife, Lisa Beamer, here tonight.

A false dilemma is a logical fallacy where two choices are presented as though there are no other choices. In this excerpt, the sentence<u><em> "Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists"</em></u> contains a false dilemma because it offers only two choices as being absolute, although there are many paths that nations can take to combat terrorism.

It was hard finding the excerpt  but next time post the whole question

Good luck :)

<h3>What do you understand by Topic sentence?</h3>

A topic sentence is a sentence that sums up the fundamental thought of a passage.

It is generally the main sentence in a passage. Otherwise called the fundamental thought what the author's situation on that theme, it exemplifies or sorts out a whole passage.

A theme sentence, generally the principal sentence in a section, presents the primary thought of that passage and establishes its vibe.

A theme sentence is particularly significant in articles, where points change from one passage to another. This makes knowing how to compose a subject sentence vital for any understudy or author.
