The correct answer is rewards.
There are various types of motivation, but all of them involve some kind of a reward, whether it is something intrinsic, like happiness when you learn/achieve something, or extrinsic, like good grades/money. It is not a secret that we perform better when there is a reward involved because we are anticipating receiving that reward and therefore we try hard to get it.

The close linkage of effort to performance under expectancy theory is crucial for enhancing motivation.

Further explanation

This theory was put forward by Victor H. Vroom who stated that the strength that motivates a person to work actively in doing his work depends on the reciprocal relationship between what is wanted and needed from the results of the work.

This theory of hope is based on:

 • Expectancy is an opportunity given that will occur because of behavior.
 • Value (Valence) is the result of certain behaviors having a certain value/dignity (power / motivational value) for each individual concerned.
 • Linkage (Instrumentality) is the perception of the individual that results in the first level

Expectancy is something that exists in an individual that occurs because of a desire to achieve results in accordance with the objectives. Expectancy is one of the drivers that underlies a person to take action. Because with the hard effort, the results obtained will be in accordance with the objectives. In this theory, it is stated that a person will maximize effort and minimize everything that prevents the achievement of maximum results.

Expectancy theory assumes that a person has the desire to produce a work at a certain time depending on the specific goals of the person concerned and also one's understanding of the value of work performance as a tool to achieve these goals.

Expectancy emphasizes the results to be achieved. Desired outcomes are influenced by one's personal goals in covering needs. In this theory, a person will maximize something that is beneficial and minimize something that is detrimental to the achievement of the final goal.

He would benefit from seeing a live performance because he could then see experienced actors play out the emotions, therefore giving him a more in-depth look on the feelings. This would make his essay much more fleshed out and analytical.

The Giver (Novel) | What is one instance in the novel where the community has taken away the individuality of the citizens that
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

Explanation:

Jonas notes that he is one of the few community members with light eyes—most of the citizens’ eyes are dark—but no one would dare mention this to him for fear of offending him. To many readers, the idea that such a distinctive feature would be a source of shame is confusing, as many of our societies place value on individuality. In Jonas’s society, however, adherence to the sameness of the community is the highest priority, and so standing out at all is considered an embarrassment.

3. Working-class loyalty is C. Napoleon is always right.

Squealer convinces the other animals that their leader is always right, even if Napoleon seems not to take the best decisions for the progress of the farm. In order to succeed in ensuring the animals’ loyalty, Squealer creates the motto “Napoleon is always right.”
