What is the greatest common factor of 44 12 and 28?

3 0

The greatest common factor of these three numbers is 4.

In order to find this, we start with factors of the smallest number (12). The factors are listed below.

12, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1

Now we start with the biggest and work our way down until we find something that goes into all 3.

12 does not go in evenly to either 44 or 28, so we can't use that.

6 does not go in evenly to either 44 or 28, so we can't use that.

4 goes in evenly to both as seen below:

44/4 = 11

28/4 = 7

Therefore, 4 is the greatest common factor.

(5x^2 - 3x)(8x^2 + 4x)
timurjin [86]

For this case we have the following expression:

(5x ^ 2-3x) (8x ^ 2 + 4x)

To find the product, we apply distributive property that states:

(a + b) (c + d) = ac + ad + bc + bd

So:

(5x ^ 2) (8x ^ 2) + (5x ^ 2) (4x) - (3x) (8x ^ 2) - (3x) (4x) =\\40x ^ 4 + 20x ^ 3-24x ^ 3-12x ^ 2 =\\40x ^ 4-4x ^ 3-12x ^ 2

vodomira [7]
Part A
A good scale for y to use would be 100, since it fits in all of the f(x)'s and the next value (243) is obviously not going to fit.
As for x, you can use 4 or 5. If you do 5, you're not going to get to it though, because f(x) will be 243.

Part B

When our input increases by 1, our output multiplies by 3.
Multiplying by 3 x times can be represented as 3^x.
We start at 1, so we'd want to have 1\times3^x. However, 1 times anything doesn't change its value, so we can leave it out because it is redundant.

As for making the graph, just label your y axis 0 to 100, and your x axis 0 to 5.
Then mark out (0, 1), (1, 3), (2, 9), (3, 27), and (4, 81).
Draw a curve that includes all of these. It should hit y=100 a little after x=4, since x=5 is all the way at y=243.

What is the equation of this line in slope-intercept form to 2x+y=−19
natulia [17]

Answer:

y = -2x - 19

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

2x + y = -19

Subtract 2x from both sides;

y = -2x - 19
