Answer: Well to start off the U.S government has or uses two types of policies. Their is the Monetary policy and the fiscal policy.

Explanation: Monetary policy- controls money supply and interest rates.

Fiscal policy- influence economic performance But both of these help the economy to be bale to achieve growth, the price stability and full employment. Hope this helped :)
