What i understand is 3/5 of the balls are yellow and all of these will be sold as 3 per can.

If so,

3/5 of 4250 tennis balls is 2550 (4250*3/5=2550)
These are yellow tennis balls.

If you pack as 3 of these balls, you get 850 cans. (2550/3 =850)

And if you sell these as £2.50 per each, 850*£2.5=£2125

85% of this money goes to charity;
£2125 * 85/100 = £1806.25

The angles remain the same. If you equally increase the lengths of the sides, the interior and exterior angles will not change. Both of them are similar to the original sign.

Leni [432]

Answer:

1 3/4 cups

Step-by-step explanation

Since the recipe calls for 5 1/2 cups of flower and Molly only has 3 3/4 cups, subtract 3 3/4 from 5 1/2 to get the remaining cups of flour needed to make the recipe.

5 1/2 - 3 3/4 = 1 3/4

inna [77]

Answer:

To solve this problem, we can use a system of equations.

We know the quadratic expression has the form

f(t)=at^{2}+bt

Using points (1,12) and (4,0), we can form the following system to find a and b.

12=a+b

0=16a+4b

We need to divide the second equation by -4 and sum both equations

12=a+b\\0=-4a-b

12=-3a\\a=\frac{12}{-3}\\ a=-4

Then, we use this value to find the other variable

12=a+b\\12=-4+b\\b=12+4\\b=16

<h3>Therefore, the quadratic function that models the situation is</h3>

f(t)=-4t^{2} +16t  or  f(t)=-4t(t-4)

According to this expression, after 2 seconds, the height is 16 feet.

f(2)=-4(2)(2-4)=-8(-2)=16

Explain why a two-dimensional net is useful for finding the surface area of a three-dimensional figure. Answer as soon as possib
Allushta [10]
A two-dimensional net is useful because it flattens the 3-d figure so that you can see all the faces of the figure.  You can calculate the area of each face to find the surface area.
