 As the example in the text shows, a 17-year-old girl posted a photo drinking alcohol. This caused her years later to lose a job opportunity and even pay a fine because what she was doing was illegal.

All people today do not have a clear notion of how dangerous it is to share everything they do on a public social network.

Not only because you can tarnish your personal image, but you also put yourself in danger by exposing the places you visit, the school you go to, where you work, etc. You never know who may be checking your profile.

That is why the author talks about being more cautious and not using social networks to post everything we are doing.
