I believe it is the banking system, that was horrible. people continued to loan money from the bank and even the bank itself was giving away other peoples money, which is now illegal. but back then it was not. the answer may also be the stock market itself! hope this kind of helped!

i have some answers but will you be able to make them into your word paragraph

pros :

made a profit from a cash crop

free labor because they were workers  using them

less deaths from harsh weather

made it easier to sell and produce way more cotton

increased work thru out america with its discovery

cons:

hard to filter

was not built the greatest

poked  the fingers of  workers if not careful drawing  every time

was not portable

there was only the one until they figured out how to make more with little supplies

not many were assigned and kept to the job

tried being destroyed
