The cold war was a diplomatic hostility between communism and capitalism. so ussr vs. USA. when soviets put the berlin blockade, this threatened usa. with the berlin airlift, soviets were mad that the USA was invading their territory. both the teams wants to spread their ideals throughout Europe which is what the cold war is.
