Answer:

The plot structure engages readers because it moves in a quick and linear manner toward the climax.

Explanation:

One of the most important ways in which an author engages an audience is through the plot structure that he employs in his text. Usually, a plot is made up of the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action and denouement. In this case, the author is able to engage readers in the story through the plot structure because he moves in a linear and quick way toward the climax. This means that the author moves very quickly towards the "exciting part" of the plot, which motivates the reader to continue reading the text.

Write a paragraph republic day
Fantom [35]

Republic Day is our national festival that is celebrated every year on 26 January. This day is special for Indians because we got our constitution on this day. As India got its independence on 15 August 1947 and further on 29 August 1947, a committee was appointed to make our constitution. Dr. B R Ambedkar was appointed as the chairperson and it took two years, 11 months, and 18 days in the framing of the constitution. The constitution was formed on 26 November 1949 but was finally adopted on 26 January 1950 as this date has its historical significance. It was confessed to celebrate our Independence Day on the same date in a meeting of the Indian National Congress held on 26 January 1930. But it took 17 years to get free from British rule and India got its freedom on 15 August 1947. So, we celebrated Independence Day on 15 August.
