Who were the first practicing muslims, and why was Muhammad both their religious and political leader?
Mamont248 [21]
Muhammad was a political leader because he was a leader of the state, and he was a religious leader because he was a prophet of the lord according to Islamic beliefs. He received numerous instructions from god through the angel Gabriel, known in Islam as Jibril, and based on these rules and guidelines the Quran was created. People who were Muslims before Muhammad also accepted that it was a religion based on having prophets of the lord such as Abraham, Noah, Jesus, and others, but the stories slightly differed, with Muhammad being the final prophet that this world has seen.

Explain how franklins and eleanor roosevelt affected the civil rights of african americans
Delvig [45]

Answer:

It will be correct to say that the civil rights of African Americans couldn't have been a reality without the illustrious effort and contribution of great figures like Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. These renowned civil right activists represented the voices of the oppressed African Americans at a time when racism and segregation was the order of the day. They advocated for equality of all races, and abolition of discrimination. They initiated programs that promoted equality of Americans and defended the cause of African Americans. Eleanor Roosevelt advocated for the rights of black women also. She also opposed bills that were discriminatory to African Americans.

In the margin on the next page , analyze what hall means by "the natural right of all men" (line 30)
lesya [120]

Answer:

He incorporated natural rights theory into documents like the Declaration of Independence that not only justified the Revolution but served as “an expression of the American mind.” Natural rights, such as the right to be free and pursue one’s own “happiness,” are rights all human beings possess that are not granted by government and cannot be revoked or repealed.

Explanation:

African Americans, both slave and free, immediately jumped into the fray when white colonists began to protest British colonial rule for the first time in 1765 in response to the Stamp Act, which imposed a tax on newspapers, pamphlets, and legal documents.

African Americans, and some whites opposed to slavery, also recognized the curious irony of statements made by some white colonists that characterized British policies as a conspiracy that threatened to turn free white people into “slaves,” that is, people lacking the same rights and liberties as British citizens overseas.

While a small number of slaves petitioned courts for their freedom, the number of petitions rose during the American Revolution. In the petition it was argued that slavery left black people in bondage for life without the hope of acquiring property and freedom for themselves or their progeny. Since the law deprived slaves of property and instead made them into property, their condition resembled that of an animal and not a human being

Black Americans continued to petition for their freedom during the Revolutionary War, which broke out in 1777 in Massachusetts, former slave Hall, declared that the ideals Americans fought for “in the course of their unhappy difficulties with Great Britain pleads stronger than a thousand arguments…that black people may be restored to the enjoyments of that which is the natural right of all men.”

Two years earlier, Hall founded the first African American branch of Freemasonry and started the first black Masonic Lodge in Boston.

Based on what you have learned, what emotion best describes the tenor of europe after world war i? anxiety complacency joyfulnes
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Anxiety emotion is best describes the tenor of Europe after World War I. After World War I , Most of Europe's major economies were bankrupt, and people with anxious and stressed. The country was in big chaos.

INTERPRETATION-

After World War 1 conditions were chaotic in Germany and Eastern Europe. The map of Eastern Europe was redrawn several times in the next few years.

The French and the British were busily dividing the spoils of the war between them but still reeling from the enormous human cost of the War. The Victors still froze out Asia, the Middle East and Africa from benefiting from the peace. The colonial rule was not broken just adjusted.

The 1920s brought a world trying hard to forget the disaster that had just happened. There was recovery for a while then the depression of the 1930s brought hardship.

Germany's civil administration had been centered around the German Army General Staff during the War. The Government was taken up by a civilian democratic administration that had very little experience in democratic administration. War reparations, civil unrest, inflation, and great unemployment destroyed the German Economy. There was continued street fighting between Left and Right through the 1920s.

America was trying to mediate the Peace but President Wilson's health and idealism could not complete the task. The Peace was not ratified by Congress. America returned to isolation.

Over all the rise of the Ideologies on the left and right would set the stage for World War 2.
