Since the argument is that people would be wiser to choose an animal from the Ferndale Shelter, rather than buying one from a pet store, using the evidence that comes afterwards makes both argument and evidence effective to show people that there is much more to shelter adoption, positive, than negative, and thus people should give it a chance.
