According to VA, "Civil Rights Act dictates that businesses cannot deny services to people based on race, color, religion or national origin." At this time of struggle, people tend to leave the house wearing protection that includes of face masks, gloves, etc. Wearing these protection can easily make someone assume that they are sick and can avoid or mistreat them. This situation would be deniable since it isn't related to anything of the CRA. On the 12th of May, 2020, a business was spotted of denying service to someone who wasn't wearing a mask. However, whether businesses should or not, it is allowed to deny service to people who aren't following their local's coronavirus guidelines. As of right now, wearing face masks are considered a duty. This means that people can actually face legal consequences for not wearing equipment when exiting the house. Aside from all the information regarding business service and coronavirus, a business should be able to deny someone from entering their store if they are not wearing a mask. Even without being affected, they can still risk other people's lives by simply forgetting or not caring about their mask. Businesses already do have the choice to deny services to any person who doesn't have the coronavirus as previously told and they should allow that until the time it's gone.

Answer:

The simile helps the reader understand King Arthur's pain.

Explanation:

A simile is an explicit comparison between two things of a different kind, in order to make a description more intense. It uses the words "as," "like," and verbs similar to "resemble."

In the excerpt from "Morte d'Arthur,” by Alfred Lord Tennyson, King Arthur is disappointed with Sir Bedivere because Arthur has ordered him twice to throw Excalibur into the lake and Sir Bedivere has failed to do so.
