Answer:

- Shi'ism

- development of arts

- development of sciences

- development of philosophy

Explanation:

The Safavid Empire was roughly controlling the territory of Persia. It managed to be a successful empire which had numerous contributions to the world, region, and Muslim World. One of the most noticeable things about this empire is that it countered the way in which the Islam was developing, and it formed the Shi'ism, thus splitting the Islam into two branches. The empire was very focused on the development of numerous sciences, arts, and the culture, so most of the influential Islamic scientists and artists were actually from this empire, and they managed to invent and achieve numerous things while the Safavid Empire existed, contributing the most to the Islamic Golden Age.

This is because the atmospheric pressure at the top is very high. So, you can only breathe one – third of the total oxygen that you inhale at normal elevations.

Freezing Point
O Yeah, Freezing point is the highest temperature of Mount Everest. The temperature never goes above freezing point on Everest! During summer the average temperature is – 19 degree C and in winter it is – 36 degree C.

Tweet from the Everest The first tweet sent from the top of Mount Everest was in 2011 by Kent Cool. His tweet: “Everest summit no 9! 1st tweet from the top of the world thanks to a weak 3G signal” That’s indeed a cool tweet from Mr. Cool himself.

Dead Bodies Point Ways Dead Bodies pointing out your way… seems like a scene from horror movie. Isn’t it? But there are more than 200 corpses of climbers on Mount Everest which are used by other climbers as a way point to decide whether they are on right path or not.

Wind power on Everest Can you guess what the speed of wind is over Mount Everest? It is a whooping 200 mph. Imagine standing on the top of Mount Everest in a cold chilly 200 mph wind. Phew!

Now comes the Oldest Most people start thinking about retiring at the age of 60 – 65. But this was not the case for Yuichiro Miura. He became the oldest person to scale Mount Everest at the ripe age of 80. After all where there is will there is way.

The Youngest on Mount Everest At the age when kids are busy fighting over chocolates and making excuses for no homework, this brave boy- Jordon Romero created history! In May 2010, Jordon Romero got worldwide attention by becoming the youngest person to scale Mount Everest at the age of just 13 years.

The first flight over Everest In April 1933, two people Charles Douglas – Hamilton (pilot) and David Fowler Maclnytre (fellow pilot) successfully flew the Westland PV-3 biplane over mount Everest making this flight the first one to fly over this summit.

The Maiden Year The year when no one attempted to climb Mount Everest is the year 1974; making it a maiden year for Mount Everest.

First to conquer the mightiest On May 29, 1953 history was created by Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay when the duo successfully scaled the highest and dreaded mountain peak of the world.

Certainly The Dirtiest Every year many climbers climb Mount Everest. During the climbing they leave behind many litters and wastes like climbing equipment’s, broken ropes, oxygen bottle and even human feces. Also those climbers who die on the way to the mountain; their bodies are left behind and Everest is now actually littered by corpses of various climbers. It is estimated that Everest is completely littered with about 50 tons of waste. Tallest or not; Everest certainly is the filthiest mountain.

Not The Tallest Mount Everest is the highest mountain Range but it certainly is not the tallest. The tallest mountain is Mauna Kea with 4,205 meters above sea level. Are you thinking that Mount Everest is 8,848 meters above sea level, then how can Mauna Kea be tallest? Well actually the Mauna Kea extends below the sea level. So, when it is measured from the base which is on the ocean floor then its height is 10,200 meters which is about a mile taller than the Mount Everest.

Still growing Mount Everest is young and still growing! Yup Mount Everest grows approximately 0.16 inches i.e. 4 millimeters every year. Even after 60 million years, Everest hadn’t reached puberty yet. (Wink!)

The young Everest Even though Mount Everest is 60 million years old; yet it is quite young as compared to other mountains.

The presence of Anglos was the similarity--Anglo (white) people in the regions held economic interests leading to the revolts against the leadership and a demand for annexation.

After the Mexican Revolution, the whites living in Texas, who also were the main ranchers of the region, asked the US to assist in a revolution against Mexico to become independent. The independent nation requested the US to annex the state so the whites could regain connection to the US. During the Mexican-American War, the region of California also staged a revolt against Mexico and declared themselves a free republic called the Bear Flag Republic. The white settlers in the region assisted the US with the war and after became part of US territory. This is the same as Hawaii, white land owners and farmers asked the US to assist in a revolt and eventual annexation of the islands. This put whites in power in Hawaii to control the territory.
