Answer:

The two brothers working together will take 7.7 hours to dig the entire ditch.

Explanation:

Assuming T to be the total amount of time taken by both brothers working together, we can say

  • 1/T ditch/hour to be the rate at which both brothers dig the ditch  together
  • 1/14 ditch/hour to be the rate at which the older brother digs the ditch
  • 1/17 ditch/hour to be the rate at which the younger brother digs the ditch

So the rate at which both brothers dig the ditch can be calculated by the equation,

1/T = 1/14 + 1/17

T = 238/31 = 7.7 (rounded off to the nearest tenth)

50°C is equivalent to a 82 F b- 90"F c 122"F
andre [41]

Answer:

50°C = 122 Fahrenheit

Explanation:

Here, we need to convert 50°C to F i.e. Fahrenheit. The conversion formula from degree Celsius to Fahrenheit is as follows :

^{\circ}F=(^{\circ}C\times \dfrac{9}{5})+32

Where, ^{\circ}C=50^{\circ}C

^{\circ}F=(50\times \dfrac{9}{5})+32

^{\circ}F=122^{\circ} F

So, 50 degree Celsius is equal to 122 degree Fahrenheit. Hence, this is the required solution.

Which is the balanced chemical equation representing the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide? H2O2 H2O + O2
Bess [88]
2H2O2 ------> 2H2O +O2

because we're given one side with 2 hydrogens and 2 oxygens and another sie with  3 oxygens and 2 hydrogens. The hydrogens are balanced but the oxygens are not. You can't make the oxygen a three on the reactants side with a whole number so you multiply by 2.

Now you have 4 hydrogens and 4 oxygens on one side and 4 hydrogens and 4 oxygens on the other :)

The law of conservation of mass states that ___________
klio [65]

The law of conservation of mass states that <u>matter cannot be created or destroyed.</u>

<u />

The law of conservation of mass states that the mass of the reactant must be equal to the mass of the product.

In 18th century law of conservation of mass was given by Levoisier.

It states that mass is neither created nor destroyed.

Example -

  • when wood burns the mass of the suit ,ashes and gases equal to the original mass of the charcoal.

  • after heating the ice it will convert into water. Mass of the ice does not change after undergoes a physical. Change.

The law of conservation of mass states that <u>matter cannot be created or destroyed.</u>

A squirrel jumps down from a tall tree. Assuming the squirrel is in free fall, how far will it have fallen in 1.5 seconds?
snow_tiger [21]
D = 1/2gt^2 <-- free fall formula

d = (0.5)(9.81)(1.5^2)
d = 11.03625
d = 11.04 m

hope this helps and have a great day :)
