What is the difference of tone between the bill of rights and the declaration of independence

History

The tone of the documents differ since the Declaration of Independence is shorter and it is like a story since it just describes the rights that everyone should have, and how the King of England, by coming to the US had not given them the rights that they deserved. It also had a lot of content that talks about religion like: "...endowed by their Creator...". And, it has a long list of things the King has violated. The Bill of Rights however, has a monotone tone that just states the Amendments and what they are. It also has legal power, unlike the Declaration of Independence.

I just did a project on this for class.

zvonat [6]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there is no other reference or context, we can say the following.

What all three documents agree that is the most likely reason people's rights will be threatened is a tyrant federal government that could exert absolute power and control over the citizens. The three documents are the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

The branch of government that all three documents imply is the source of people's power is the legislative branch because the citizens have the right to elect their representatives who had to attend people's claims to create the kind of legislation that protect them and create conditions tho thrive and prosper.
