Asexual reproduction is a type of reproduction where offspring arise from a single organism and inherits the genes of the parent only. It does not involve the fusion of male and female gametes and there is no change in the number of chromosomes between the parent and the identical off springs. Thus, in this case the hydra offspring will have 32 chromosomes.
