In billboards the speaker is usually the message/text on the billboard,it's to get the point across or they make it to where you can remeber it or persuade you. The occasion can be for anything like food places.hotels,buisnesses,etc. The audience would be the people or anyone who sees it so basically it's for everyone. The purpose again is to pursuade the audience, and the tone can literally be anything.

The next one I chose was a recorded speech, the speaker is the person talking in the recording addressing his/her message. The occassion can be anything to get there point across for example it can be about believing in yourself or keep trying normally inspiring stuff, or stuff you should be aware of like abused animals. The tone in the recorded speeches is either harsh or kinda sad to get the point off and make you feel bad or inspired.

And my last one is the artical, the speaker is the person who wrote the article there the one telling the story. The occassion also can literally be anything, anything that will make us wanna read the article or that gets our attention. The audience is for anyone who wants to read the article. The purpose is to make us wanna read the article and for us to buy the magazine/newspaper or anything you read the article on so we can buy it or just read it. And the tone would be anything that depends on the article so if it's sad its gonna have words that make you feels sad.

Definition of “Verbal Modifier”
valkas [14]

Example of verbal modifier in English grammar is- "Infinitive".

An infinitive is a verbal consisting of the word "to" placed before a verb (in its simplest "stem" form) which functions as a noun, adjective, or adverb.

Examples of infinitive to read, to run, to jump, to play, to sing, to laugh, to cry, to eat, and to go etc.
