This was again a trigger for the emergence of totalitarian leaders and regimes in these two countries. The League of Nations did not adequately respond to the growing totalitarian ideas and regimes, even in some situations, for example, the annexation of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia by Germany, the League of Nations, thinking that it would satisfy the Nazi agree to such a concession. In one word, the League of Nations did not have the capacity to stop Nazism.
