What causes the moose population to decrease? When this happens what happens to the wolf population

Answer:

The most prominent factor that is causing the moose population to decrease, is the climate change, and the second most important one, is human hunting and destruction of the moose´s natural environment, and feeding grounds, to increase availability of land space for cattle raising. And the decrease of the moose population, as they are the main pray for wolves, causes these predators to move away, die, or seek other sources of food, which means that as the moose population decreases, so does the wolf population, for different reasons.

Explanation:

As researched, probably the biggest reason for the decreasing in many species of animals, not just the moose, is climate change, because climate change is affecting the environment of animals, and changing their living habits to adapt. The affectation of plant life, the changes in availability of water and living space for wild animals, such as the moose and wolf, are leading to their decreased numbers. However, hunting by humans has also become a problem, even though today legally, most of these hunting activities are restricted and controlled. A third, and very huge issue, is the human encroaching on the environments where both moose and wolf live, in order to turn lands into grazing lands for cattle. Farming, thus, has also become a problem that has led the moose to either seek other environments, or die off. As a chain reaction, the wolf population also decreases, as they either die, or move away since they no longer have easily available prey to hunt.

Hunting is one of the causes that moose die off. The wolves will either have to find another source of food, move off, or parish (Die).

In the Earth's mantle, heat is transferred in large convection currents. Within these currents,
yarga [219]

Answer:

D. hotter rock rises and cooler rock sinks.

Explanation:

We know that as we move towards Earth's center, the temperature rises. This rise in temperature causes rocks to melt (magma). The high temperature and melting of rocks decrease the density of material which makes it move upward. By moving upward, the molten rock starts turning solid and becomes denser again. Here, it sinks back due to gravity. This upward and downward movement of rocks due to density and temperature makes a convection cell.

PS: The formation of convection cells in Earth's interior is also the reason for plate tectonics.

Suppose that an igneous rock with an intermediate chemical composition was partially melted before it resolidified. Which of the
Elenna [48]

Answer:

Mafic -- the formation of the minerals begins anew upon melting.

Explanation:

Mafic minerals set at increased temperatures, which is there in Bowen's Reaction Series. Therefore, rocks collected of mafic minerals are designed at increased temperatures. They are originated in sites deep within the earth and also in tectonic dispersal environments, like the seafloor. Mafic magmas are generally formed at dispersal centers, and signify material which is recently distinguished from the greater mantle. Mutual mafic rocks comprise basalt and gabbro. Mafic rock, in geology, igneous rock that is subjugated by the silicates pyroxene, amphibole, olivine, and mica. These minerals are high in magnesium and ferric oxides, and their presence gives mafic rock its characteristic dark colour.

A population of white rabbits migrate to an area inhabited by gray rabbits. The two colorations of rabbits breed and produce via
kramer

Answer:

D.) Gene Flow

Explanation: In a population genetics, gene flow (also known as gene migration or allele flow) is the transfer of genetic material from one population to another. If the rate of gene flow is high enough, then two populations will have equivalent allele frequencies and therefore can be considered a single effective population.
