Answer: The correct answer for the blank are -

a cell membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, cytoplasm, ribosomes,

Golgi complex, cytoskeleton.

Plants and animals belong to eukaryotes (that is they possess true nucleus and membrane bound subcellular compartments such as endoplasmic reticulum, golgi complex, mitochondria etc).

Cell membrane is a selectively permeable membrane that is present around the cytoplasm ( fluid filled compartment of cells) of all living cells.

Ribosome is a biomolecular complex, which is composed of RNA and protein and act as site for the synthesis of protein in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes.

Cytoskeleton is a fibrous network of proteins (present within cytoplasm) that provides strength and support to the cell.

the autonomic (involuntary) nervous system controls the rate at which the heartbeats. sympathetic (fight or flight) signals spee
Vanyuwa [196]

the autonomic (involuntary) nervous system controls the rate at which the heartbeats. sympathetic (fight or flight) signals speed up the heart’s rate while parasympathetic (rest and digest) signals slow it down. The part or parts of the heart that forms sympathetic and parasympathetic neurons form synapses is called cardiac plexus.

Cardiac plexus is a plexus of the nerves that are present at the base of the heart and is divided into superficial and deep part. The sympathetic and the parasympathetic nerves form synapses with heart in the form of cardiac plexus.

The sympathetic nerves are responsible for activating flight or fight mode while parasympathetic nerves are responsible for restoring the normal body state.

<span>This is known as glomerulonephritis. This infection is the first step on the road to overall kidney failure, since it is indicated by the kidneys becoming less and less able to filter out waste products from the body.
