Do you think the “Best Student” award should go to the person who earned the highest grades? Or should the _____________ be the

one who worked the hardest? A. RECIPIENT B. ARROGANCE C. APPREHENSION D. DONOR

I know it's not B, because arrogance is basically like pride or self-absorption, so that's false.

Apprehension, or C, is also false. The meaning of apprehension is basically anxiety or tension, so that is also false.

D is also not correct because donor is someone who gives something away to another person. Though donor is usually associated with giving away organs to help other people, it can be other things.

But a recipient is someone who receives something, such as a "Best Student" award!

A is the correct answer! :)

Write an email to Mrs. Ha Vu to let her know of the bank’s decision regarding her loan application
VashaNatasha [74]

Hi. Your question wants to assess your writing ability and imagination, for that reason, I can't answer it for you, but I can show you how to answer it.

First, it is important that you imagine yourself as the bank employee who reviewed Mrs. Ha Vu's loan application. You must also decide whether this request will be denied or approved and give reasons for doing so.

Don't forget that this is a letter written from a professional to a client and for that reason, it must be written in a cultured and objective language. With this in mind, you will write the letter as follows:

  1. You will begin the letter by referring to Mrs. Ha Vu, you can do this by writing "Dear Mrs. Ha Vu."
  2. Start a second paragraph, introducing who you are, your position in the bank, and why you are writing this letter.
  3. Show the bank's decision to provide or not the loan Mrs. Ha Vu asked for. Then show the reasons why her request was denied or approved.
  4. If the application has been approved, state what next steps Mrs. Ha Vu should take to receive the loan.
  5. If the request is denied, show what she must do, to place the order again.
  6. End the letter by thanking Mrs. Ha Vu for her trust in the bank you work for.
  7. Write "Sincerely" then put your name and the position you hold at the bank.
