Read the passage from “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.” For nearly a year, I sopped around the house, the Store, the school and

the church, like an old biscuit, dirty and inedible. Then I met, or rather got to know, the lady who threw me my first life line. Which phrase from the passage most helps the reader to identify author Maya Angelou’s viewpoint about Mrs. Flowers?

The answer is the last one. Threw me my first line. Because that's the only choice that lets us know that she communicated with another person.

How did the Nazi Party rationalize the mass murder
labwork [276]

Answer:

The Nazi Party rationalized the mass murders through its well-invented propaganda. The massive propaganda was one of the most powerful sources that Nazis used to achieve their goals, so they used it frequently and on different ways.

One of its purpose was to justify the mass murders of Jewish people and their Allies. Nazis described Germany as a victim of Jewish aggression in order to justify their violence against innocent people. Hitler frequently stated that Jewish people and the Allies are spreading awful lies against Nazi Germany and their leadership.

The best example would be their invasion on Poland. Hitler invented Polish attack on a German radio station, under excuse that Germany was defending itself from Polish attacks. He actually tried to rationalize his invasion on Poland.

How is time represented in “persistence of memory” by salvador Dali? What effect does Dali achieve? Can writers use similar tech
olganol [36]
In Persistence of Memory, time is represented by clocks and hourglass. The clocks appear as though they are made of rubber, or cloth, draped over other objects. They are flexible and can bend. Some suggest that Dali was influenced by the scientific discoveries of the day, particularly Einstein's theories in which time is flexible not static.

Writers do not have to view the passage of time as a static thing either. They can describe events in the present and then flashback to past events. They can in one sentence describe a year of time, or they can in minute detail discuss what is happening with each passing second. In other words, writers can control and bend time just as Dali has done.

nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

Piteously means pitiful, so it is probably not C, I have not read the story but it doesn't seem like Priam (the father?) would set fire to the town. so i would say D, the death of hector meant the end of troy.
