The acquisition of "Louisiana Territory" from France did nothing to help later pioneers to California; California was, around then, some portion of Spain. Be that as it may, Oregon was a piece of the Louisiana Territory. What's more, a great part of the way that pilgrims would take to California and Oregon was through the Louisiana Territory.
Maybe the greatest point was that the buy of the Louisiana Territory set the United States contiguous the Spanish provinces which later moved toward becoming Mexico. In 1835, the Texan war of autonomy from Mexico started, coming full circle in the 1836 thrashing of the Mexican powers at the Battle of San Jacinto. The acknowledgment of the Republic of Texas into the United States incited the Mexican-American War in 1845. The 1846 Bear Flag Rebellion made the fleeting California Republic, and the US smashed the Mexican powers and attached California.

sladkih [1.3K]
The Treaty of Paris granted Guam, the Philipines, and Puerto Rico to the United States, with the US assuming the balance sheet of these territories.

The Teller Amendment was an amendment to the declaration of war on Spain which stated that the US would return Cuba to the Cubans following the conclusion of the war, but the US wanted indirect control over Cuba, and did not want its debt. It managed to negotiate that Spain would take on the 400 million dollars, and that the US would build a base on Cuba.

How did democrats hold power for so long in the 30s,40s, and 50s
nydimaria [60]

Democrats held power for so long during the 30s, 40s, and 50s because the country entered the Great Depression. Democrats dominated this time period because its liberal policies and programs with FDR's "New Deal" were seen as the best way to combat the emergency bank closings.

hammer [34]
14. Farming was extremely important because it allowed people to settle down. This also assisted in allowing us to grow things that proved to be more beneficial to the body. Due to the fact that farming made us settle down, we were then able to conduct research and learn about medicine. Farming also allowed people to create surplus food, which allowed for bigger populations and fewer workers.

Hope this Helps! :)

Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

removal from office and disqualification from holding another federal position

Explanation:

The United States Constitution provides that the House of Representatives "shall have the sole Power of Impeachment" ( Article I, section 2 ) and that "the Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments…[but] no person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two-thirds of the Members present" ( Article I, section 3 ). The president, vice president, and all civil officers of the United States can all be subjected to impeachment processes.
