The island on the western part is the United Kingdom.

The big territory on the southwest of the map is Spain.

The boot-shaped territory in the southern part is Italy.

The small territory above Italy is Switzerland.

All of the countries marked with yellow color on this map, are countries that are well developed countries. They are democratic societies. The economies are strong and heavily industrialized. All of these countries, apart from Switzerland are members of the European Union, though the United Kingdom will not be anymore in a couple of months.
