This is a bandwagon appeal, as they are using a famous star to grab a patrons interest. But can also be identity advertising considering there is a connection between the product and advertiser, basketball.

Read the conclusion from Susan B. Anthony’s speech, “On Women's Right to Vote.”
julsineya [31]

Answer:  To tie it to another civil rights movement and bring attention to both plights.

Explanation: As was the fight for civil rights and the ending of discrimination against African Americans, women were deserving of the same rights.  Ending the speech in this manner brings light to both fights for equal rights, and again, makes a strong point that justice and rights should be available to ALL since ALL are to abide by all laws.

Answer:

As all of you know, we're stuck inside, which is a great opportunity to write another essay! Please read carefully. Remember, it's important to be diligent when you review the agenda. I will know if you do not read this all the way through. Look out for any clues that may point to this as just being a prank. For instance, there may be a secret message encoded in this doing unnecessary work if you don't read carefully. Obviously, as an English teacher, I wouldn't mind assigning you another essay, but you probably don't want to do that. Lastly, if you can decode this message, please submit your explanation here for extra credit. Seems like a rather daunting task, but trust me it isn't.
