Answer:

The Voting Rights Act of 1965 is a law that is included in US legislation and clearly expanded democracy in the country while marking a milestone in civil rights.

Two achievements of the law:

1. Prohibit discriminatory practices in the right to vote by the African-American community living in the United States. This fact is very important since so far there were states that to vote required proof of literacy or the payment of some tax, using these resources to limit the right to vote of black people.

2.  Give powers to the United States Congress to monitor the electoral administration of the states and to take action in situations in which discriminatory practices occur.

How did the limited central government created by the Articles of Confederation reflect the concern with individual liberties fo
dsp73

Answer:

The only powers granted by the Articles of Confederation were things like declaring war, foreign affairs, or making treaties- powers necessary for the government during the Revolution. The states were only unified by a "firm league of friendship," and each state had one vote in Congress no matter the size, to ensure that the larger states did not infringe on the rights or wishes of the smaller states.

Do you think an Incan would have described this achievement as “clever”? Explain.
horrorfan [7]

Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Yes, an Incan would have described this achievement as “clever” because he/she wouldn't have thought that such limited land would produce so many corns. The fact that only a small portion of the land could grow corns was hampering the food supply of the Incan people.

When irrigation channels were constructed on the demands of the king, land became more fertile and the production of corns increased rapidly. This was truly a clever achievement for the Incas who had limited fertile land to grow corns.
