<span>"3.The author's last name and page number(s) from the source must appear within the text of the paper" is correct. If the author is mentioned in the text, only the page number needs to be listed after. If not, then the author's last name and page number need to be listed. </span>

MLA (Modern Language Association) is most commonly used style to write papers and cite sources. In-text citations, MLA format follows the author-page method. According to this method, author's last name and the quoted page number must appear in the text. It is also important to add the same reference on Works Cited page. The author's name has to be either in the sentence or in parentheses corresponding to the quotation. It is very important to add the page number in the parentheses.

neonofarm [45]

Simile is a figure of speech that uses the words, ‘like’ or ‘as’ when comparing one thing to another. This makes the sentence more intense or definite. For example, she was brave as a lion. So for this question, the answer is “He gave the struggle his attention, as an idler might observe the feat of a juggler, without interest in the outcome.” Since it uses the word ‘as’ and was compared to an idler.

What is the source of the central character's angst in Graham Greene's short story "A Shocking Accident"?
Rom4ik [11]

The answer is A. his embarrassment about the cause of his beloved father's death.

The story revolves around Jerome's father dying because he was crushed by a pig that fell from a balcony. Jerome used to idolize his father, perhaps partially because he also lost his mother when he was very young and his father was the only parent he had. As he grew older, he realized people's reactions to this event was laughter. He became embarrased, and this caused him angst.
