Amount paid by a single driver to participate in the rally = $25

Total amount generated by the participation fee from each driver is equal to the sum of amount paid by all the 135 cars.

Since we cannot add $25 for 135 times, we use multiplication operation.

Total amount = amount paid by one single driver multiplied by the total number of cars.

Total amount = 135 * 25 = 3375 $ .... Answer
