If you imagine a coordinate plane, there are 4 sections.
1 : (+,+)
2 : (-,+)
3 : (-,-)
4: (+,-)

Now, point (4,-7) is in the 4th section. Meaning, the reflection over the y-axis would be in the 3rd section. It would be (-,-)

The reflection over the y-axis of (4,-7) is (-4,-7).

I hope this helps!

5g=230
=5. /5
g=46

so 5 is the coiffieficent which mean 5 multiplie a variable. so to get the g by itself we must divide both sides by 5. 5 cancels out 5. And 230÷5 is 46. That mean g is equal to 46.

Can someone please help me use a protractor on this question since I don’t have one?
jekas [21]

Answer:

If you don't have a protractor handy, you can determine the size of an angle using the basic geometric principles of triangles. You'll need a scientific calculator to solve the equations. Most smartphones are equipped with them, but you can also download a free app or access a free calculator online.
