During colder months the snowfall is high and that's when it accumulates turning into ice and forming glaciers.

Glaciers move by the pressure of its own weight and the gravity force.

They move by the internal deformation of the ice, the deformation happens when thw mass or weight of a glacier spread out due to gavity.

Which factors contributed to the endnof open-range cattle ranching in the mid 1880s
-Dominant- [34]

One factor was barbed wire. As farmers and ranchers wisened up, they used the wire to fence in their cattle, destroying the use of cowboys, and taking away one aspect of the "wide open west".

Herds of cattle took over the plains and destroyed the grass. In 1883 t big drought struck and water streams dried up and prairie fires grazed. Also the barbed wire and the natural disasters. People wanted to be able to mark their property.

What group of paris artists immersed themselves in religion to flee modernity?
Naya [18.7K]
Les Nabis.

Deriving their name from the Hebrew word for "prophets," the Nabis were founded by Paul Serusier, and were active in the late 1800s into the first decade of the 20th century.  A number of members of the group were of Jewish background, so that's part of the explanation perhaps for the "Nabis" name for the movement.  There was a desire to see art as a medium for revealing deeper truths.  Their motto was expressed like this:  "S<span>ounds, colors, and words have a miraculously expressive power beyond all representation and even beyond the literal meaning of the words."</span>
