There are two types of elements that are part of a group's culture: material and nonmaterial.

Explanation:

The material elements refer to the group's collection of physical objects that they produce or acquire. These inlcude:<em> technology, tools, clothes, means of transportation, utensils of various kinds, and any other material objects. </em>

The nonmaterial elements refer to all the abstract elements that are part of a group's culture. These include: <em>symbols (non-verbal communication, for example), language, values and beliefs, form of government (including political and social ideas)</em>, among others.

Both types of elements interect with each other and have the same importance in the identification of a group's culture.
