Question 3 (multiple answer)

English
2 answers:
Artemon [7]4 years ago
5 0

Answer:

  • President Carter is appealing to his audience’s sense of pathos by relating to them on an emotional level to invoke a sense of solidarity and brotherhood.
  • President Carter is appealing to his audience’s sense of ethos by trying to convince them of his credibility and good character.

Explanation:

These are the two statements that best describe the way President Carter uses rhetorical appeals in this excerpt. President Carter explains that he was elected three years ago, and that he promised the people of the country a President who was not isolated from the people, who felt their pain, and who shared their dreams, and who drew his strength and his wisdom from them. In this way, the president uses pathos to connect emotionally to his audience. He also uses ethos to convince them of his credibility.

Part B:

An essay about (An amazing person) of about 250 to 300 words
Elodia [21]

Leonardo DiCaprio is a really amazing person, mainly because his acting skills are just absolutely immaculate. He has played in a bunch of movies such as Inception, Shutter Island, The Wolf of Wall Street, Titanic, The Revenant. His whole career is based on his acting. He's made tons just by acting, and he has placed eight times in annual rankings of the world's highest-paid actor, which is actually really cool. Leonardo DiCaprio's net worth is estimated to be around $260 million. Leonardo DiCaprio was born on November 11, 1974, and born in Los Angeles, CA. He is now 46 years old and played in about 65 movies. The biggest movie he played in was Titanic, it made around 2,194,439,542 dollars  worldwide. Leonardo DiCaprio has yet to make more movies, impressing everyone with the amazing skill he was born with, which his skills were to act. Leonardo DiCaprio has made a really great impact on a lot of us just by his acting. Acting isn't always the easiest, you have to learn how to do such things on command, and have to be prepared for the worst to always happen, you never know when something terrible could go wrong, anything could always happen on set and could end up going completely wrong. All of these things that have been stated/said are exactly what makes Leonardo DiCaprio an amazing person. May we all hope he continues his career with his impressive acting skills and make us all impressed with his amazing skill.
