"The Star-Spangled Banner<span>" is the </span>national anthem<span> of the </span>United States of America. The lyrics come from "Defense of Fort M'Henry",[1]<span> a poem written on September 13, 1814 by the 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet </span>Francis Scott Key<span> after witnessing the bombardment of </span>Fort McHenry<span> by British ships of the </span>Royal Navy<span> in Baltimore Harbor during the </span>Battle of Fort McHenry<span> in the </span>War of 1812<span>.

Well in my social studies text book it tells me this: By early 1918, the tide had finally turned in favor of suffrage. President Wilson agreed to support the suffrage amendment. In 1919, Congress passed the Nineteenth Amendment. It guaranteed women the right to vote.
The people living in the colony of Jamestown had a very big problem with the swampy surroundings because the swamp was attracting lots of mosquitoes, and the mosquitoes were transporting diseases with them. Because there were lots of mosquitoes, people were getting stung by them on a daily basis and it happened very often that they would get some disease from them, and while some diseases did not caused big problems, some were fatal.
On May 14th, 1948, David B. Gurion, the Head of the Jewish Agency proclaimed the creation of Israel State for:
i) It was the land that the Romans had previously expelled them from and during the 2nd World War Holocoust of European, Jewry gave them strength in their determination.
II) On 29th November 1947, the United Nations General voted for Resolution 181 to partition Palestine between Arab and Jewish States.
