Answer:

There were two main differences between German settlers and Anglo settlers in America.

The first difference between them was their level of education. German settlers were in their majority non educated or low educated people, that fleed their country because of poverty, looking for better opportunities in America. Anglo settlers, on the other hand, were in their majority regular to well educated people, who migrated to America because of religious reasons.

The other big difference between both groups was the places where these groups settled. German settlers mainly settled in farmlands, in states as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and the Midwest. On the contrary, the great majority of Anglo settlers settled in big cities near the coast, like Philadelphia, Boston, and of course New England.
