Industry started developing rapidly and the laws couldn't catch up with the rapid development. The wealthy industrialists opened factories and did what they wanted in those factories and it was a long time of exploitation before they managed to fix it with regulations and prevent bad working conditions and monopoly practices.

Which country won the Vietnam War?
rjkz [21]

Answer:

The U.S., technically

Explanation:

By every traditional measure, the United States “won” the Vietnam War. U.S. troops moved with impunity and held the field of battle after almost every engagement. Casualty rates were extremely lopsided in America's favor. Yet, by 1976, South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia were communist. Which means that Vietnam won, if you will.

So I guess the U.S. won every battle and still lost the war. The war ended with a cease-fire rather than a peace treaty.

What beliefs are shared by Muslims, Jews, and Christians? What are a few differences between each?
maria [59]
They all believe in one God, their holy book derives from the Torah somewhat, they generally have the same ethics (don’t kill, don’t steal etc.)

However, Jews are still waiting for a messiah, Christians are waiting for the Messiah Jesus to come again, and Muslims are a bit of a mix, Messianism is alien to Sunni Islam but it is a central belief in Shia Islam.
