Each state was most concerned for its own interests and needs. There was much debate about states overruling each other or one region have more control than others.The Great Compromise stated the Senate would be 2 people per state and the House of Representatives would be based on population.

The Articles of Confederation were created weak purposely because the colonies had just got out of war with Great Britain who has a very strong government and the colonies did want a strong government like Great Britain. The Articles were also created to unite the colonies.

Well, for economic effect: the economy boomed (in america). War efforts make the economy boom, with guns, ammo, rations, etc. Women were given jobs in factories. For environmental: bombs, trenches, and guns ravished the land. Buildings and cities were bombed, people were killed, fields were covered in mud, dead bodies, and trenches. Rats and lice were rampant. farms were destroyed.
