Why did student activism receive so much media attention?

English

I would say that student activism received so much media attention because all of the above - because they were vocal, because they challenged the silent majority, because they were willing to question authority in an attention-getting manner, because their protests often ended in violence and disorder.

Pls help! If you can’t see it zoom in
just olya [345]

I believe the answer would be the second option, this is because the text states that amazonencore has been publishing since 2009, which eliminates the other choices (the first uses the word 'now' claiming they 'now' publish books, the second is not stated in the passage, so it isnt important. The last option claims amazon went through 'conflicts' but it did not, in fact the kindle is an amazon product) If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask! I hope this helped!

Which of the following sentences is written correctly?
chubhunter [2.5K]

B. Eager to eat, Caleb immediately joined the buffet line.

The other ones don't make sense because the order that the words are put confuses who is doing the action.

For example in the sentence:

Caleb was ready for the party wearing a suit and tie.

The way this sentence was written makes it seem like the party was wearing a suit and tie even though it was Caleb.

This is how it should have been:

Caleb, wearing a suit and tie, was ready for the party

Another example:

Having fun, the dance floor was already full of people.

Who/what was having fun? The dance floor or the people? In this sentence it seems like the dance floor is having fun.

This is how it should have been:

The dace floor was already full of people having fun.

Last example:

He rode in a car that was decorated with his friends

So his car was decorated with little models of his friends. I'm sure he didn't mean this so...

With his friends, he rode in a decorated car.

Hope this made sense and helped you understand!

What is the meaning of the strong man is strongest alone
dolphi86 [110]
Most of the time, when you have a strong man, that indicates independence and a strong will. Strong willed people tend to stick to themselves and take care of themselves BY THEMSELVES. That's one translation lol

just olya [345]

Answer:

In the image, I see an angry woman kicking who I assume to be her newly wedded husband very hard. So hard, in fact that he's flying back a bit. The husband seems scared, or perhaps shocked at what she's doing. I wonder what he could've done that was so awful to have caused her to kick him on what I could guess as a happy wedding.

Explanation:

hope that helps! its a little over 3 sentences, BUT I used 6 different adjectives. ^w^
