The correct answer is overjoyed, in my opinion. She had never wanted to marry St. John, but had felt immense love, respect, and gratitude for him. Now that has found her family, she is extremely happy and satisfied, as she had always suffered because of not having any cousins that she could love and respect. She is also very generous and shares her inheritance with her cousins.

The scientific method is a process of rational thought and common sense. True or false.
Katen [24]
This is false.

It is false because a scientific method is a lot more complex and has many steps which need to be fulfilled for it to be valid. Rationality and common sense are not enough for something to be scientific as sometimes something can be irrational or almost nonsensical and yet scientific.

"Ball goes in (thwack) to mitt,/ and goes out (thwack) back to mitt." This is an example of which sound device?
k0ka [10]

While there are many different sound devices that can be used in poetry, such as near rhyme (sounds are similar but not exact), alliteration (same beginning sounds), this one is onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia is using words to suggest a sound. This can also be words like whispering, sizzle, thump, clang, etc. Using onomatopoeia allows you to imagine what it would sound like if you were present (this is part of imagery).
