<u>Answer: </u>

Nitrate fertilizers may not be suitable for application in soils with low redox potential as there will be no required reduction takes place. Crops with excess nitrogen will affect the health of the consumer.

<u>Explanation: </u>

  • Redox potential (Reduction/Oxidation potential) is tendency of a chemical species to gain electrons from an electrode or loss electrons to electrode as a result of Oxidation or Reduction.
  • Nitrogen is an important element for 'plant growth and development', but due to pollution, high nitrate concentration accumulate in the edible part of the food product and particularly when 'excess nitrogen fertilizer' has been applied.
  • When the redox potential is very low then there is no any chance for nitrogen to get diluted which results in the excess of nitrogen content and so nitrate fertilizers may not be suitable for application in soil with low redox potential.
  • Selection of nitratae fertilizer compatetive to the soil is very important.

Write the following statement as Prolog clauses: Mammals have four legs and no arms, or two arms and two legs. A horse is a mamm
eduard

Answer:

Explanation:

mammal(X) :- legs(X,4), arms(X,0).

mammal(X) :- legs(X,2), arms(X,2).

mammal(horse).

arms(horse,0).

As far as I can tell, prolog cannot derive that a horse has four legs. Why so? You may ask. I'd say then, because there isn't any rule(s) for prolog to use in determining the legs. Inference rules can also not be used to determine that the fact that a horse is a mammal and it has 0 arms, it certainly must have 4 legs.

goldstein sa. the mechanical properties of trabecular bone: dependence on anatomic location and function. journal of biomechanic
Mice21 [21]

A complicated substance with significant heterogeneity is trabecular bone. Depending on the anatomical region and with age, its elastic and strength qualities change significantly  also sickness.

The relevance of architecture and tissue material qualities is still unclear, despite the fact that these characteristics are highly dependent on density. Interesting facts about the strains the point at which the bone fails is essentially independent of density. Currently being done, there are more sophisticated structure-function relationships that underlie such behavior mechanical characteristics such time-dependent failure, damage, and multiaxial loading accumulation.

The microstructural class of finite element models, especially the "high-resolution" models, offers a special method for investigating such phenomena. With continuing research in this area, it is anticipated that significant understanding will be gained into issues including osteoporosis, bone fracture, bone remodeling, and the design/analysis of bone-implant systems. This article examines the current status of trabecular bone biomechanics, concentrating on the mechanical elements, and makes an effort to pinpoint crucial areas for present and future study.

A genetically transmitted disorder that is characterized by progressive weakness and muscle fiber degeneration without evidence
julsineya [31]

Answer:

Musclar dystrophy.

Explanation:

It is caused by interferences (mutation)with the protein(gene sequnce) for formation of healthy muscles. Therefore leading to abnomaliteis in muscles cells formation and functions

Two major types most common in males than females:

Becker muscular dystrophy, Duchenne muscular dystrophy.,etc.

Most symptoms includes;

Muscle stiffness, frequent falls, walking on toes, learning disabilities etc.

Joel is comparing two slides showing chromosomes in a sperm cell and a skin cell of a dog. He finds that the sperm cell has 39 c
Sphinxa [80]

Answer:

The total number of chromosome in a skin cell is equal to 78

Explanation:

The sperm is usually haploid i.e it will contains only half of the total chromosome number.

Therefore , if the total number of chromosomes is "n" , then the number of chromosome in the sex cell will be "n/2"

Thus, 39 chromosome is just the half of total chromosome number.

Now a skin cell is a diploid cell and it will contain all the chromosome i.e "n"

As we know

\frac{n}{2} = 39\\n = 39 * 2\\n = 78

Hence, the total number of chromosome in a skin cell is equal to 78
